Southern Oregon is home to world-class fishing and rafting rivers, ski mountains, bike trails and hiking paths, and green valleys that produce some of the world’s best wines. It’s also home to the continent’s deepest lake and the state’s only national park, Crater Lake, which graces the back of Oregon’s state quarter. For these reasons, it’s no wonder that South Oregon real estate is being sold at a premium to homebuyers in search of a property with breathtaking views, beautiful landscaping and scenery, convenient access, and enough privacy.
The current real estate market in South Oregon is seeing an influx of interested buyers move to the area in search of an oasis of sorts. Many recent buyers are using their South Oregon homes as second or third homes and typically stay in Oregon during the pleasant fall and spring seasons. From the valleys to the deserts, wildlife and nightlife are able to gracefully come together in Southern Oregon making it one of the most desirable getaways for people, especially those from urban areas. A number of outdoor adventures, like river rafting, jet boating, fishing, and mountain climbing help to make the region even more attractive.
